In the wake of globalization, the new trend among parents is such that parents of all backgrounds, from all over the country, want more or less the same things for their children – stellar academics or, if you say it in plain English, quality care and quality education, no matter who provides it, where it is provided or how much it costs.

Just spare a thought about 70s and early 80s when the number of boarding schools with immaculate facility, Ultra High Net Worth Parents, rich kids and which were believed to be the epitome of quality education in India, was so less that it could be counted on the fingers of one hand. Presumably, due to the rarity of existence, education in such schools was the privilege of only the affluent.

Now, the need of the hour is different. There are more school options and certainly there is more being expected from the schools than what used to be acceptable back then. In fact, the curriculum, the teaching faculty, the teaching methodology and the pattern of examinations at NJV are such that it is quite different from that of any other schools, bar a few exceptions.

I believe that exceptional schools produce exceptional people and leading the NJV is an opportunity of a life-time for me.
